In my private practice, I treat clients in the three common areas of hypnotherapy: weight control, smoking cessation, and stress reduction, and I continue to expand into my main area of interest, that of medical-related hypnosis, including relaxation therapy, pain management, wound healing, medical and dental phobias, pre-and post-surgical hypnosis, etc.. I train almost all of my clients in the techniques of self-hypnosis.

Over the last five years I have treated clients for the following specific health and life issues: fear of seasickness, tinnitus, binge eating, fear of heights, sleeplessness, test anxiety, health management and motivation, health and happiness issues, ego-strengthening, pre-operative anxieties, blood-flow control, irritable bowel syndrome, incontinence following surgery, teeth grinding, creativity blocks, and empowerment issues. Most of my work is in weight control, anxiety reduction, and stress–relief techniques.

I have taught seminars entitled “Life Management Through Hypnosis” at Salem State College, North Shore Community College in Danvers, and at the Wakefield Community Education evening school. Also, I conducted two stress management programs through the Institute for Corporate Training and Technology for the All-Care Visiting Nurses, and in-service training for the professionals at The Fuller House of Stoneham this year. I run small group workshops in stress reduction and weight control.
